What AI Actually Changed About My Workflow

I've been using AI tools seriously for over a year now. Not dipping a toe in — genuinely integrating them into daily work.

Here's my honest take:

What actually changed: Research synthesis, first-draft generation, code scaffolding, and debugging explanations.

What hasn't changed: Strategic thinking, stakeholder relationships, creative judgment, and ethical decision-making.

The biggest shift isn't the tools themselves — it's learning to delegate to them intelligently. That requires you to be more precise about what you actually need, which, ironically, makes you better at your job.
